Distribution system support by power management of battery systems in charging mode and charging systems for electric vehicles
Rodionov, Vladislav ; Mastný, Petr (referee) ; Drápela, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the power management support of battery systems in charging mode and charging systems for electric vehicles in the LV network. The thesis includes an overview of the distribution network of the Czech Republic, means of voltage regulation and the existing legislative framework for the connection of charging systems. The thesis describes the methods of active and reactive power control depending on the voltage and frequency. The practical part focuses on the simulation of grid support at different penetration levels of BESS and EVC in MATLAB Simulink and the verification of the support function on a laboratory system. In the last part, the methods of implementing the control system for BESS and EVC operating in the LV grid are specified.
Formule Student control unit and power supply system
Klement, Dominik ; Szabó, Zoltán (referee) ; Steinbauer, Miloslav (advisor)
This thesis describes the development of a Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) used in a Formula Student Electric competition. The VCU processes data from sensors located on the vehicle, evaluates this data, and then controls peripherals. The power supply system, integrated in the VCU, regulates the input voltage to the branches that supply other units on the vehicle.
Merging of Different Exposured Photographs, HDR
Šmida, Vladimír ; Juránek, Roman (referee) ; Seeman, Michal (advisor)
High Dynamic Range Imaging (HDRI) is an emerging field in image postprocessing with non-trivial relations to many different areas, such as image synthesis, computer vision, video and image processing, digital photography, special effects among others. This bachelor's thesis deals with the usage of HDRI in digital photography. Conventional digital cameras are not able to record the full tonal range of the scene. Therefore, if we want to capture a high dynamic range scene, by setting the exposure time we have to choose only a small range of tones which will be well depicted. The rest of the photograph will loose important detail. The method presented and implemented in the scope of this thesis enables us to create HDR picture with realistic values of tones out of several differently exposured photographs.
Design of Electric Cargo Truck
Blahynka, Roman ; Zdařil, Zdeněk (referee) ; Sládek, Josef (advisor)
This master‘s thesis pertains to the design of a cargo truck with battery electric drivetrain. The presented design offers a solution which respects the technical requirements of such a vehicle, ergonomic needs of its crew, and demands on the aesthetics of a modern commercial vehicle. In consideration of the chosen drivetrain, this solution is proposed as a concept with an outlook of 10 to 15 years in the future. In keeping with the specified goals, this vehicle offers a novel appearance which attempts to characterize the electric drivetrain with certain visual elements, includes solutions that are readily available or currently in development, and optimizes ergonomics for maximum user comfort and safety.
Design of chassis for an electric minibus
Strnadel, Bronislav ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
The theoretical part of the master thesis is devoted to electric vehicles from their history through sources of electric energy and a swapping battery system to electric buses and autonomous driving. In the practical part the concept of autonomous electric minibus with the calculation of battery capacity are described. Furthermore, the attachment of battery to chassis and the idea of automatic swap are designed. In the last chapter the design of chassis itself can be found together with the FEM analysis.
Hybrid vehicle propulsion
Sommer, Matěj ; Kloss, Ondřej (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis sums up a comprehensive overview of all possible ways of hybrid propulsion and points out the andvatages and disadvantages of each of these designs with special attention to fuel cell vehicles. It includes a presentation of my own opinions regarding this issue and an estimation of future development of hybrid propulsion technologies and their place on the market with personal vehicles.
Design of golf cart
Wenglorz, Marek ; Lehocký, Peter (referee) ; Karásek, David (advisor)
In this diploma project I´m designing golf cart for transportation two persons . At the side of design I wanted to achieve an innovate feature and diferentiate from today´s production. Through my conception I want to offer a wider possibility of usage and increase use value of golf cart. Herewith I mean for example an integration to the traffic after urgent modification. I dont want to design the golf cart like a vision to the future, but I endeavour for complying with current trends at the producing.
Thermal Managment of EV, BEV, PHEV and FCEV vehicles
